Stockholms Akademiska Cricketsällskap (SACS) is one of the largest Cricket club in Sweden. Founded in 1996 by a few students at Stockholm university who were returning from an exchange down-under. Over the last 20 years the club has grown into the biggest and most multicultural in the country. Players from 15 different cultures and backgrounds are members of the club. And despite claims from a certain president of a well-known country, all 90+ members of the club get along very well. We have 3 senior teams, an U19 team and an U15 team. There are 60 clubs in Sweden playing in 4 divisions. Our 1st XI plays in the elite division, 2nds won promotion to the 2nd tier last year and our 3rds always give a good game to every opposition. The 3rds also feature both male and female players.

This year we are focusing on developing our girl’s teams and looking for a female coach. We will pay for the flights, accommodation and the reasonable expenses. You must have documented coaching experience and interested in playing at the weekends for our 1st XI who play at a decent level. There will also be opportunities for you to travel around Europe in your free time. The work will involve coaching our junior teams and the girl’s teams. You will sometimes be visiting local schools to introduce Cricket to the kids and participate in the club's integration with Cricket project.

Sweden is known for its high living standards, is one of the cleanest countries in the world and is the best country to visit during summer. The club is based in the centre of Stockholm, the capital of Scandinavia. The city's transport system is one of the best in the world and with long day-light hours, is a place to be in the summer.

We are looking for an outgoing, social and an enthusiastic individual who would like to help develop our great sport in a country where Cricket is not very well
