Information for Skaters

We are very excited to welcome you very soon to Malmö & Copenhagen for this year's EuroGames!
You are to compete in the Figure skating tournament, and you are part of the 1911 athletes competing across 22 tournaments which takes place at 8 different locations in Copenhagen and Malmö. We are proud to be hosting Europe’s most inclusive multi-sport tournament, as we are welcoming LGBTI+ athletes from more than 50 countries and five continents to compete in competitive sporting events - the most diverse EuroGames ever.
By this information letter, we hope to ensure that you may have all the information about accreditation, the Figure skating tournament, COVID19 information, etc. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Helpdesk, the link is at the bottom, and we will get to you within 24 hours.

Tournament information
Accreditation for Figureskating will be at Malmö Isstadion at the competition day.
If you need your accreditation before the competition day contact Camilla Ekelund at Camilla.ekelund@malmo.se

Your tournament is taking place on 18 august at Malmö Isstadion with athletes from countries all over Europe and some from even further afield. The SPORT page at Copengagen2021.com has been updated and you can read more about your tournament here https://copenhagen2021.com/eurogames/figure-skating/.

Finally, please complete the app form if you would like to have an Athlete Profile in our app. Our volunteers will add you as soon as possible.

Events you shouldn’t miss!
Sports Leader Conference – Monday 16 & Tuesday 17 August
How do we advance LGBTI+ equality in sport? That’s the topic for this two day conference. Tickets are FREE and include lunch and refreshments.

EuroGames Opening Ceremony – Wednesday 18 August
The Opening Ceremony will welcome all athletes and friends in style, with music, live entertainment and speeches. You do not need a ticket as your accreditation guarantees entry for you and one guest before 1900.
Inclusive Sports Forum – Wednesday 18 & Thursday 19 August
How do we advance LGBTI+ equality in sport?
Lectures and panel debates Wednesday is the program on Swedish and Thursday in English.
Tickets are FREE.

WorldPride Marches – Saturday 22 August
Join other EuroGames athletes and EGLSF in one of the six WorldPride Marches taking place in Copenhagen. We will meet at Churchillparken at 1530. We will send you a registration link next week.
EuroGames & WorldPride Closing Ceremony – Saturday 21 August

We’ll recognize all the sporting successes during EuroGames before handing over EuroGames to Nijmegen 2022. Expect incredible music, speeches and entertainment. Your accreditation guarantees access for you before 1900. If you wish to bring a guest they must book a ticket (subject to availability).

There’s a lot happening in Malmö during EuroGames
Alongside the tournament in Figureskating, EuroGames at Copenhagen 2021 includes a great deal more content to whet the appetite whether you are competing yourself or just enjoying the atmosphere. In Malmö (Baltiska hallen – same building as Malmö Isstadion) you can join Inclusive Sports Forum
